Academic research

We believe that Research and development (R&D) are fundamental for creating a better sustainable world. We are collaborating with multiple universities and academic research centers in Canada and Egypt. We are partner with The World Centre of Excellence for Destinations (CED) which was created with the support of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

To achieve our goals, we are establishing three Research centers

PAGE-MENA

Center for Poverty Alleviation and Gender Equity in the Middle East and North Africa.

GRS-MENA

Center for Governance, Resilience, and Sustainability in the Middle East and North Africa.

NRECC-MENA

Center for Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change in the Middle East and North Africa.

Our researches cover the following main topics:

  • PAGE-MENA: We create researches about capacity building, women empowerment, gender equality, poverty alleviation in local, rural, indigenous, and remote communities, building opportunities for self-sufficiency, tourism as a tool of poverty reduction, and many others.
  • GRS-MENA: We study topics like urban governance, multiscalar governance, local governance, human capital management, citizen and community participation. We create researches about mental, emotional, social, and physical resilience. We also study the five distinct areas of sustainability: human, social, economic, environmental, and cultural.
  • NRECC-MENA: We create researches about water governance, new irrigation Methods, organic farming, green urbanism, smart cities, climate change, and many others.
